 | Welcome Cyclists and Bikers! | May 18, 2009 |
RIDE BIKE. NOW!Reason for riding a bike sums up to three words that we here at Bisikleta Manila tries to adhere to our consumers and friends. FUN. Bike riding can be a way where family members or friends can bond together and share a laughter or two while strolling down the park lane. And if alone, it can also be a way for us to find new friends because we could see each other clearly and could exchange smiles easily. According to the article Hello, Everybody by Joe Kita, highways are the worst place for hellos. Its maybe because the vehicle are too big or the windows too dark thus our inability to see each other becomes of a big problem. As a result, we share the road with faceless machines that are much easier to ignore or be aggressive towards. There is one noteworthy exception, however, and that is motorcyclists and the bike riders. So on your next ride, don't forget to wave hi to fellow cyclists on the road. FITNESS. We encourage people to ride bike not only because it becomes a sustainable form of transportation but cycling also improves a person's health. Thousands of people around the globe faint ill due to heart problems, chronic diseases, etc. and what would the doctor normally suggests aside from eating the right foods? Yes, exercise! Cycling gave us health benefits and even tone down our muscles. Just remember that whenever we ride a bike, our body becomes stronger plus we're inching away from being fat to fab. FUTURE. Everything we do somehow connects on how we want ourselves to be or what we want our future to become. We work hard and save up for our future; we educate our children so they will become good citizens of this country; or we plant trees so we could harvest fruits and have green lively surroundings. But due to monstrous carriers of pollution, planting trees may not be enough to save the Earth. Remember the digit 40 because according to www.sciencedaily.com, 40% of death worldwide are caused by water, air and soil pollution. Factors that contribute to such are smoke coming from factories, burnt plastics and gas from our own vehicles. We could have a better tomorrow by helping out the environment or by simply riding a bike. The future truly lies on our hands but let us rephrase this and say that this time, the future also lies on our bikes! FUN. FITNESS. FUTURE. Cruiser Classic Women's

“As a kid I had a dream—I wanted to own my own bicycle. When I got the bike I must have been the happiest boy in Liverpool, maybe in the world. I lived for that bike. Most of the kids lift their bikes in the backyard at night. Not me. I insisted on taking mine indoors and the first night I even kept it by my bed. Funny, although it was important to me then, I can’t remember what finally happened to it.”

Tech info: So named, because of its ‘A’ like shape in use, the uniquely styled A-bike feels much like a normal bike to ride. However unlike other folding bikes it can easily be slipped into a bag while you hop on the tube, train, bus, or even a plane.
Click on the buttons below to find out more about the design and technology behind the A-bike. If you still have some questions then the Q & A section will help explain how easy and practical the A-bike is to use.

| | A bicycle helmet is a helmet intended to be worn while riding a bicycle. They are designed to attenuate impacts to the cranium of a cyclist in falls while minimizing side effects such as interference with peripheral vision.[1] There is an active scientific debate, with no consensus, on whether helmets are useful for cyclists, and on whether any benefits are outweighed by their disadvantages. The debate on whether helmet use should be compulsory is intense and occasionally bitter, often based not only on differing interpretations of the academic literature, but also on differing assumptions and interests on the two sides. - source Wikipedia |
